Simple ways to Prevent Heartburn

Heartburn is the most typical symptom of gastric diseases.Some people experience heartburn  more often than others.
Heartburn is the typical sign of gastro
esophageal reflux disease.

Symptoms include but not limited to chest pain,sour flavour in the mouth and burning sensation in the heart.

If one is experiencing heartburn
on a regular basis she or he should consult a physician for proper diagnoses and treatment as prolonged heatburn may expose one to ulcers or cancer. 

Ways you can simply avoid heartburn include:

  • Balanced Diet

A well balanced scheduled diet always will help to smoothen the digestion process and prevent heartburn. Certain foods and beverages normally trigger heartburn issues. Citrus fruits, chocolates, tomatoes, raw onions, spicy foods, etc.are a few examples of food stuffs which can trigger heartburn.Just find out which food triggers heatburn for you and try to eliminate or reduce it in your diet. Eat food rich in fibre.

  • Peppermint:
Peppermint is a natural remedy for heartburn, gas and indigestion. Peppermint leaves relax the valve between thee stomach and the esophagus, enabling trapped gas to
escape upwards, avoiding heartburn.

  • Water
Another easy way to prevent heartburn is to drink lots of water. The water helps to
flush out the toxins from the stomach and prevent precents heartburn.The daily recommended amount of watet for adult is between 2.7 and 3.7litres.

  • Avoid Smoking

Smoking is not only dangerous  to health, but causes severe heartburn. Nicotine is an ingredient in cigarettes that weakens the lower esophageal sphincter- a group of muscles towards the end of the esophagus that
closes off the esophagus and prevents the acidic atomach contents from going into the esophagus. So if you want to be free from heart burn,burn off that cigarettes from your fingers!

  • Sleep                                                                         

A restful sleep and tension free brain are much needed to stabilize the organs of the body.So always get some sleep,it is good for the body.
